In 1997 Michael’s strong ambition and adventurous spirit led him to become a Sebastian International Design Artist which enabled him to educate hairdressers in North America. After spending two years working as a Sebastian Design Artist, Michael met and married Angelia Polsinelli, Director of Education for Sebastian International, and moved to Los Angeles, California.Once in Los Angeles, Michael’s talent was spotted by Robert Lobetta, the Vice President of Creative for Sebastian International. Robert then promoted Michael to the International Artistic team.Today, Michael travels the world doing large shows for Sebastian International and works hand in hand with Robert Lobetta to create the haircut collections and photographic images that represent Sebastian international world wide image. Although Los Angeles may seem like a world away from Bolton, Michael is still dedicated to the family and the family business, sharing his talents, new ideas and experiences to bring an international flair and artistic level to his family’s salon.
